The Bachrach Group is partnered with one of the leading national freight forwarding companies on their search for a LOGISTICS OPERATIONS COORDINATOR. This role delivers exceptional customer support by managing client inquiries and resolving issues related to domestic trucking. A minimum of 3 years of office operations experience within the logistics / transportation industry is required as well as High School diploma.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage customer communication regarding domestic trucking inquiries, and requests via phone, email, or other channels while providing resolution to issues promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and provide accurate quotes and pricing across a range of services, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and track domestic shipments to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor shipment progress proactively and address delays or issues to minimize service disruptions.
  • Work closely with internal teams—including operations, dispatch, and drivers—to ensure smooth execution of services.
  • Keep customers informed with timely, accurate updates on shipment status and any changes.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and shipment data in company systems.
  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to enhancing processes and overall customer service quality.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in logistics or a related field are a huge plus.
  • At minimum of 3 years of experience in domestic transportation, logistics, or a similar industry.
  • Prior experience in office operations and customer service ideally within transportation or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of domestic trucking operations and terminology, regulations as well as industry standards.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to effectively engage with customers and cross-functionally collaborate with internal teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics or transportation management systems preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-focused with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to exceptional customer service.

Location: IAH area

Schedule: Fully ONSITE

Pay range: $22 - $25 hourly, plus occasional OT
