About the Position
We are seeking a skilled CDL A Driver for a local delivery position in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $25 per hour along with benefits. The driver will be responsible for delivering freight on a dedicated route, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
This role involves very heavy freight - tractor tires up to 125lbs each.
Pay & Schedule
- Hourly Pay: $25
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30 start time
Job Details

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL A vehicle to pick up or deliver freight to designated locations.
- Pick up scrap tires for disposal into a 53' trailer. Will have a helper to assist with store pickups. Some tires are 125lbs.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Valid CDL A license.
