Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Wells Fargo Commercial Capital

  • A market-leading provider of working capital, investment capital, trust services, and sales financing solutions that help customers optimize liquidity and grow their business through their lifecycle

Middle Market Banking

  • Services private and public companies with annual sales of $5 million to $2 billion
  • Specialized expertise across industry sectors

Treasury Management & Payment Solutions

  • Provides cash management services and digital channel capabilities for customers of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking
  • Also serves some Consumer and Small Business Banking and Wealth and Investment Management customers, and Auto Dealer Finance partner relationships in Consumer Lending

Manages the activities and/or operations of a loan production, loan servicing, commercial or real estate construction loan team responsible for loan processing, documentation, post-closing tasks, loan monitoring and loan servicing. Manages sr. nonexempt/exempt level team members and accountable for providing quality customer service to internal/external customers. Responsible for coaching, influencing, developing and managing team members including decisions relative to performance reviews, terminations, hires, discipline, salary actions, etc. Influences performance of a business unit or
functional area by working as part of the decision-making management team and has responsibility for managing the budget of the team, department, or unit. Participates in strategic planning discussions for the business unit or functional area and provides recommendations regarding future direction. Participates in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies and guidelines which have significant impact on the unit, department or functional area and oversees implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo, legal, investor, regulatory and/or business policies.

Please Note:Team member must be located in one of the listed site locations. Position is currently remote; however, team member will be required to work on site when Wells Fargo returns to standard operating model.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 3+ years of management experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 2+ years of commercial loan experience
  • 2+ years of loan operations experience

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze financial metrics
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to motivate and provide performance feedback to staff
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo AFS (Automated Financial Systems)
  • Knowledge and understanding of loan administration or servicing commercial loan documentation
  • Knowledge and understanding of real estate or commercial loans
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial loan operations


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of Small Business Administration (SBA)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Small Business Administration (SBA) 7a and 504 loans
