Litigation Paralegal

Our client is seeking a skilled Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal with strong defense experience to support their busy legal team in Center City. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working onsite in a hybrid setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, focusing on medical malpractice defense cases.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and medical records summaries.
• Conduct legal research and assist with pre-trial preparation, depositions, and trial support.
• Organize and manage case files utilizing iManage document management system.
• Coordinate with experts, witnesses, and clients to gather information and schedule meetings.
• Track billable hours accurately and maintain detailed billing records.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and law firm procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of law firm experience in litigation, preferably in medical malpractice defense.
• Proven ability to bill hours and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with iManage or similar document management systems.
• Strong understanding of general litigation procedures and best practices.
• Ability to work onsite in Center City three days per week.
• Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.
• Medical malpractice experience preferred.
