We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal with exposure to insurance defense matters and large-scale document production in legal proceedings. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic legal team handling complex litigation matters in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 3–4+ years of experience as a Commercial Litigation Paralegal
- Exposure to insurance defense matters preferred
- Experience with large-scale document production and eDiscovery
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all phases of commercial litigation cases
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
- Manage large-scale document production, including collection, review, and organization
- Coordinate and manage eDiscovery processes
- Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical)
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation and witness coordination
- Conduct legal research as needed
- File documents in state and federal courts (e-filing)
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors
- Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules
