Job Title: Probate Litigation Paralegal

Practice Area: Probate Litigation (Litigation-focused, not general probate)

About the Role

A well‑established, highly respected law firm in The Woodlands is seeking an experienced Probate Litigation Paralegal to support a busy team handling contested probate matters. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented litigation paralegal who enjoys complex case work, thrives in an organized environment, and is looking to specialize (or continue specializing) in probate-related disputes.

This position is in‑office and offers a stable, professional environment with long‑term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide litigation support for contested probate matters, including will contests, trust disputes, guardianship litigation, fiduciary claims, and related proceedings
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, deposition summaries, and case correspondence
• Manage case files, deadlines, hearing schedules, and trial preparation materials
• Coordinate communication with clients, courts, attorneys, and expert witnesses
• Assist with e‑filing, document production, and maintaining organized case documentation
• Conduct factual research and organize evidence for hearings and trial
• Support attorneys with all phases of pre‑litigation and litigation processes

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in defense litigation, such as:
• Probate Litigation (highly preferred)
• Commercial Litigation
• Business Litigation
• Similar litigation-focused practice areas
• Not seeking candidates from Plaintiff PI, Immigration, or unrelated backgrounds
