Litigation Paralegal

Hiring for an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a background in plaintiffs' injury litigation and trial support for an established and successful Law Firm in Hollywood, FL. This person will manage case files from inception through resolution, with a specific focus on preparing cases for litigation, arbitration, and trial. This role requires advanced knowledge of medical records, Florida court procedures and filings, and discovery.

Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses.
• Case Management, deadline management, and calendar management
• Request, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, and treatment statements
• Create detailed medical chronologies and expense itemizations.
• Prepare demand packages, settlement demands, and reductions
• Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists, witness lists, and coordinate witness schedules.
• Schedule and assist in the prep for depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Handle e-filings in state and federal courts.
• Maintain client communication, provide case status updates, answer questions, and help them prepare for upcoming case events

Qualification Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation.
• Advanced experience with medical terminology and the ability to read/summarize medical records.
• Incredible attention to detail, ability to work on many files simultaneously, and a resourceful and can-do attitude!
