Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to manage personal injury cases, and to help build and shape our litigation department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and wants to contribute beyond day-to-day case handling. This position is a hybrid work from home position.

 

Key Responsibilities


· Case Management. Manage all aspects of case and file, maintain calendars/deadlines, service of

process and court filings, etc.

· Drafting & Legal Support. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, disclosures, correspondence, contact with clients, experts, and opposing counsel, etc.

· Document Management. Document management, summarize medical records, depositions, etc.

· Trial Preparation. Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness materials, all trial scheduling, and assisting attorneys during trial.  

· Department Development. Assist with litigation department infrastructure, templates, checklists, internal systems, and training and supervision of future litigation staff.


Required Qualifications


  • Minimum 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience
  • Preferred – 5+ years, and medical malpractice experience
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and deadlines
  • Experience with state and federal court filings
  • Experience summarizing medical records
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Leadership or management experience.
