LHH is partnering with a great national litigation firm seeking an experienced, trial‑ready Litigation Paralegal to join their Costa Mesa team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a high‑profile practice handling complex, high‑exposure product liability matters nationwide. This position supports a busy national litigation practice specializing in complex product liability matters across all 50 states.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, agreements, pleadings, and related documents
- Manage case progress and proactively update attorneys on key deadlines and needs
- Assist with all aspects of discovery, including drafting discovery requests, deposition coordination, and issuing subpoenas
- Conduct document review and analysis using litigation technology platforms
- Maintain organized electronic case files using iManage
- Assist in trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness coordination, trial subpoenas, and attending trial
- Review, analyze, and summarize complex medical records for medical chronologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of litigation defense experience required
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing shifting day‑to‑day priorities
- Strong judgment and ability to anticipate needs independently
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new systems
- Ability to travel nationwide for trials
- Must be familiar with billing guidelines and entering accurate billable time

- Location: Costa Mesa, CA
- Schedule: Hybrid
- Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Remote: Monday, Friday
- Training: Must be available to work onsite full‑time (5 days/week) during training
- Billable Requirement: 1,800 hours annually
- This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $70,000 to $110,000 annual salary and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plans.
