Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support two associates in a fast-paced litigation practice focused on personal injury, medical malpractice, and some mass tort matters. This role involves managing cases from intake through resolution, with a focus on organization, document management, and litigation support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage deadlines, and comfortable working on complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to attorneys through all phases of litigation
- Draft, format, and assist with pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents and research
- Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings
- Coordinate and review discovery, including document productions and responses
- Organize, review, and summarize medical records and case documents
- Assist with depositions, expert coordination, and case preparation
- Communicate proactively with clients, experts, and third parties
- Conduct legal, factual, and investigative research and writing
- Support trial preparation and assist with settlement and mediation tasks
- Demonstrate strong client-focused service and commitment to the firm’s mission
- Manage multiple priorities and handle a variety of tasks throughout the day
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and deadlines
- Experience handling medical records and document-intensive cases
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), with strong typing skills
- Proficiency with case management and document management systems; ability to learn new systems quickly
- Familiarity with court rules, litigation systems, and trial preparation

Salary range depends on PI/medical malpractice experience, litigation exposure, and case management experience.
