Are you a skilled paralegal with litigation experience looking for a meaningful and dynamic role? Join a respected, family-run employment law firm with a 30-year track record of fighting for employees and delivering outstanding results. We pride ourselves on a collaborative, supportive, and engaging work environment where your expertise is valued and your growth is encouraged.
About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly competent paralegal to manage a significant caseload and support litigation from start to finish. You’ll work closely with attorneys—primarily supporting one, potentially two—handling everything from drafting demand letters, EEOC charges, complaints, petitions, and motions, to preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial. This is a hands-on, independent role ideal for someone with strong litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:
Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and client communications
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement correspondence
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
Track time, maintain case records, and ensure accurate documentation
Serve as a point of contact for attorneys and clients, thinking ahead and proactively keeping cases on track
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of litigation-focused paralegal experience
Experience with employment law preferred, but family law, personal injury, or other plaintiff-side litigation experience is valued
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with federal and state court procedures; federal experience is a plus
Experience with FileVine or similar case management software is a bonus
Why Join Us:
Family-run law firm culture with respect for employees and long-term tenure
Fully remote work with occasional in-person gatherings and trial support in Austin
Collaborative and engaging work environment with opportunities to contribute at all levels
Competitive compensation, benefits, 401K matching, and paid time off
Fun office culture with team events including holiday celebrations and team-building activities
