LHH is looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Labor & Employment Legal Assistant to join a busy and fast-moving litigation team in Tampa. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic practice area where no two days look the same and your support directly impacts case outcomes.


In this role, you will support attorneys handling a wide range of labor and employment matters, including workplace discrimination, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination claims, and agency proceedings. You’ll be a key player in keeping cases on track, deadlines tight, and attorneys prepared at every stage of litigation.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to attorneys in labor & employment litigation matters
  • Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
  • Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, depositions, and hearings
  • Organize case files, exhibits, and discovery materials with precision
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Assist in preparing for hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Track case progress and ensure deadlines are consistently met


What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior litigation experience required; labor & employment experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
