Litigation Attorney (Multiple Levels)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid Options Available)
Compensation: $150,000 – $300,000+ (DOE) + Bonus + Full Benefits
Overview
A well-established New York law firm is actively seeking Litigation Attorneys across multiple seniority levels (Associate – Senior/Lead/Partner) to support a growing and diverse litigation practice. The firm handles a wide range of matters and is open to attorneys from various litigation backgrounds.
Practice Areas
Opportunities are available across several areas, including but not limited to:
- Commercial / Business Litigation
- Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights
- Employment Litigation (Plaintiff & Defense)
- Real Estate Litigation
- General Civil Litigation
Responsibilities
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, depending on seniority
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
- Handle negotiations and settlement discussions
- Participate in trial preparation and trial (for more senior candidates)
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar
- 2+ years of litigation experience (more senior candidates encouraged to apply)
- Experience in one or more of the listed practice areas
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
