We are seeking a sharp, organized, and proactive Probate Litigation Legal Assistant to join a dynamic and fast-paced legal team in Tampa. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a litigation environment, enjoys being a critical part of case strategy, and takes pride in keeping complex matters running smoothly from start to finish.

In this role, you will support attorneys handling probate litigation matters, including contested estates, guardianships, and related disputes. You’ll be deeply involved in case preparation, court filings, discovery, client communication, and ensuring deadlines never slip through the cracks. If you’re someone who likes being the “go-to” person who keeps everything moving, this is your kind of role.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day litigation support in probate and estate dispute matters
  • Draft, format, and file pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery documents
  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, and case milestones
  • Organize and maintain case files and discovery materials
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Assist attorneys in trial and hearing preparation, including exhibits and binders


What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior litigation or probate experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a “get it done” attitude
