Light Industrial Assembler

We are seeking a dedicated Light Industrial Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will participate in various assembly processes, maintain inventory, and contribute to our continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in counting inventory for cycle counts and maintain stock, including tagging, stacking, sorting, and organizing.
• Measure, cut, crimp, wrap, and affix fittings on ends of hoses for shipment.
• Clean equipment and all shop areas to ensure a tidy workspace.
• Engage in lean activities and adhere to safety regulations.
• Regularly propose improvements and work on continuous improvement projects focusing on lean, quality, and safety.
• Perform duties of a level 1 helper as needed.
• Independently complete production and assembly tasks.
• Assist in order entry and perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in using a tape measure and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with wiring, assembly lines, and inspection processes.
• Capability to lift 50 pounds independently.

• Experience in assembling hoses and using crimpers.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with PC operations.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience are preferred.
• Basic warehouse and cycle counting experience.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller facility with approximately 10 people in assembly. Be prepared to learn every part of the shop and embrace cross-training. The role requires working independently and in small teams once fully trained. The position is for the first shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Marsh, MD.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in White Marsh,MD.
