This recruitment is to establish a qualified list to file nine (9) vacancies within the Recreation and Community Services Department and any future vacancies as they become available, and will be merged with any current qualified lists that may already be active.

This is a non-benefited, part-time at-will position. Temporary/seasonal/part-time employment status does not qualify for City benefits, except for those required by law. Part-time shifts may not exceed 28 hours per week, 125 hours a month, and 950 hours in a fiscal year basis (July 1 through June 30). Part-time positions are "at-will". There are no rights to employment and employment may end at any time with or without cause or advance notice. Candidates may be required to work irregular hours, various shifts, weekends, holidays and/or on-call status. Working hours to be assigned at the discretion of the Recreation and Community Services Department.

EMERGENCY DISASTER WORKER
City of Lynwood employees are registered as an Emergency Disaster Worker. All City employees are required to perform assigned Emergency Service duties in the event of an emergency or disaster.
