The Columbia Presbyterian Community is seeking a compassionate, creative, and organized Healthcare Lifestyle Coordinator to plan and oversee a comprehensive activities and wellness program for our Health Care residents. This role is essential in promoting quality of life through engaging, meaningful programming aligned with the seven dimensions of wellness: physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, environmental, and vocational.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive Health Care activities program supporting the seven dimensions of wellness.
- Deliver engaging group, individual, in-room, evening, weekend, and holiday programming tailored to resident interests and abilities.
- Organize community outings, scenic rides, and resident-centered special events.
- Welcome and orient new residents and families to the community lifestyle program.
- Communicate activities through weekly/monthly calendars, promotions, and personal invitations.
- Complete required documentation, including assessments, care plans, MDS/CAAs, progress notes, and participation records.
- Manage program supplies, inventory, and monthly budget spending.
- Drive the community bus for outings and serve as backup driver when needed.
- Collaborate with all departments to support community events, compliance, and resident needs.
- Participate in required training, emergency preparedness, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Social Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or related healthcare field
- OR National Certification as an Activity Professional or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
- Minimum 2 years of experience in activity programming within a Senior Living or Health Care setting
- Diverse skill set and interests including (but not limited to): Performing arts, Arts & crafts, Fitness and wellness, Music, and Creative writing
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record
