Title: Licensed Therapist or Associate-Level TherapistFLSA Status: Non-ExemptClassification: Part-Time, with the possibility of full-timeReports To: Clinical DirectorPosition OverviewThe Licensed Therapist or Associate-Level Therapist is a clinical provider who delivers evidence-based mental health counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups of Alamo Ranch Counseling and Wellness, in person or via telehealth. This role primarily serves teens, couples, and families, with the capacity to also serve adults presenting with trauma, as clinically appropriate.This part-time position requires the ability to schedule 22 to 24 client sessions per week, including consistent evening and/or Saturday hours to meet client demand. About the PracticeAlamo Ranch Counseling and Wellness, PLLC is a private practice dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based, and compassionate mental health services to individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. We hire for alignment, coach for growth, and protect a culture grounded in our six core values: Authenticity, Transparency, Empowerment, Accountability, Community, and Connection.Primary FocusDue to the demand and need in our community, this role requires a genuine desire to work with:TeensCouples, including high-conflict couplesFamiliesComplex traumaWe are looking for clinicians who want to build skill and confidence in relational and trauma-informed work, not simply those who are open to it.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical ServicesProvide on-site and telehealth clinical counseling services as scheduled and in accordance with practice policiesMaintain the schedule availability to hold 22 to 24 client sessions per week, including consistent evening and/or Saturday hoursMaintain caseload and clinical performance metrics consistent with practice expectationsMaintain appropriate licensure and abide by all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethicsPractice within the scope of competence and seek consultation, supervision, or referral when clinically indicatedDocumentation and RecordsComplete clinical documentation, including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, contract notes, and termination notes, within 48 hours.Keep client files accurate, current, and compliant with practice standardsRespond to client service requests, calls, and voicemails within 48 hoursRespond to admin and staff communications within 48 hoursClient Care and CoordinationCommunicate with client treatment teams (PCP, psychiatrist, school, and others) as clinically necessary and with appropriate consentImplement and enforce the practice payment, billing, and operating proceduresConsult and refer out when a client needs a higher level of careTeam and Practice ParticipationAttend all mandatory staff meetings, supervision, and required trainingEngage collaboratively, respectfully, and directly with all team membersFollow the chain of command, raise concerns appropriatelyDemonstrate a passion for helping team members grow and learnProvide psychoeducation and assist with community outreach as neededContribute one blog post per quarter when requestedConduct all counseling services in a professional manner that supports the reputation of Alamo Ranch Counseling and WellnessOther duties as assignedGets ItUnderstands the clinical and professional responsibilities of this role, including caseload expectations, documentation standards, performance metrics, ethical standards, and team collaboration. Can consistently maintain caseload and performance expectations, meet documentation standards, regulate self under conflict, and receive constructive feedback without defensiveness.QualificationsMaster's degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social workActive license in the State of Texas: LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Associate-level equivalent (LPC Associate, LMFT Associate, LMSW pursuing LCSW). A copy must be provided to Alamo Ranch Counseling and Wellness.Schedule availability to hold 22 to 24 client sessions per week, including consistent evening and Saturday hoursAt least one clinical niche or specialty area, such as trauma, anxiety, grief, children, adolescents, couples, or anger managementGenuine desire to work with teens, couples, families, and complex traumaAttachment-informed and trauma-informed lens, or a strong desire to develop onePrior experience in a private practice setting is highly preferredStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on assigned tasksPunctual and reliable with regular, consistent attendanceAlignment with Alamo Ranch Counseling and Wellness mission, vision, and valuesGrowth OpportunityThis position starts part-time with the possibility of growing to full-time as caseload and practice needs develop.
