How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Specialized Evaluation:Apply advanced clinical knowledge to assess and diagnose complex mental, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders.
  • Psychosocial Testing:Administer and interpret standardized measures of psychosocial functioning to identify addictions, disabilities, and psychiatric conditions.
  • Multidisciplinary Consultation:Coordinate with team managers, statutory agencies, and voluntary organizations to ensure holistic adherence to the patient's care plan.
  • Regulatory Documentation:Maintain rigorous clinical documentation in strict accordance withHIPAA, state licensure boards, and federal healthcare regulations.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
    • Marriage and Family Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
  • Driver's License preferred.
  • Certified Case Manager credentialed from the American Case Management Association (ACMA) preferred.
  • Certified Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) preferred.

Education:

  • Master's degree in Social Work required.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute setting preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking

This position is for an individual therapist on the eating disorder inpatient unit

Responsibilities include: individual therapy, exposure therapy, running of therapy groups, and milieu management.

A valid LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) is required for this role
