Job Title: Clinical Psychologist (Neuropsychological Evaluation Specialist)
Clinic Setting
Hybrid Role, 3 days a week in Colorado Springs, leaving at 2 PM
Job Summary:
HCRI is recruiting a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in neuropsychological evaluation, responsible for assessing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning through comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological testing. This role involves evaluating individuals across the lifespan to assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and recommendations related to neurological, developmental, and psychiatric conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, including clinical interviews, record reviews, and standardized test administration
- Assess cognitive domains such as attention, memory, executive functioning, language, visuospatial skills, and processing speed
- Evaluate emotional, behavioral, and personality functioning using validated assessment tools
- Interpret test results and integrate findings into clear, comprehensive written reports
- Provide diagnostic impressions in accordance with DSM-5-TR criteria
- Develop individualized recommendations for treatment, academic/work accommodations, and interventions
- Communicate findings effectively to patients, families, and referring providers through feedback sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., physicians, educators, therapists)
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards
- Stay current with advancements in neuropsychological assessment and evidence-based practices
Required Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or related field
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship; postdoctoral training in neuropsychology preferred
- Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Specialized training and experience in neuropsychological assessment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN)
- Experience working with diverse populations (e.g., pediatric, adult, geriatric)
- Familiarity with a wide range of neuropsychological and psychological assessment instruments
