Lending Product Specialist

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Lending Specialist to support Securities Based Lending and Mortgage products. This individual will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to Financial Advisors and internal partners while supporting loan inquiries, processes, and platform engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Field inbound calls from Financial Advisors regarding securities based lending and mortgage products
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for new and existing loan inquiries from advisors and branch support staff
  • Provide guidance on basic loan structures and available lending options
  • Route complex inquiries to Senior SBL Consultants, SBL Consultants, or Mortgage Consultants as appropriate
  • Deliver a high level of service aligned with a “Service First” client experience philosophy
  • Assist in evaluating common call trends to identify opportunities for branch education and process improvement
  • Maintain working knowledge of lending platforms, including SBL application tools and mortgage systems such as Blend
  • Support the onboarding process by ensuring proper use of required forms and documentation
  • Manage and respond to a shared inbox handling general product inquiries and loan requests
  • Promote awareness and adoption of enhancements across lending platforms
  • Identify opportunities to improve team productivity and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders across the organization
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer and/or commercial lending
  • Experience handling inbound phone calls in a professional environment
  • Strong client service orientation with the ability to build relationships and provide solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with standard office tools and banking-related systems
  • Retail banking and/or client services experience preferred
