Preparing pleadings, correspondence, forms, and other legal documents
Must know how to generate TOA's and TOC's
File/e-file and serve court documents and related correspondence, memorandum, pleadings, and related documents. E-file and paper file documents with local, state, federal courts
Serve discovery and subpoenas
Maintain calendars and keep attorneys aware of scheduled events and approaching deadlines
Handle the incoming and outgoing mail for the supported attorneys
Schedule hearings, meetings, depositions, conference calls, assist with travel arrangements when necessary
Enter time and handle billing for assigned timekeepers
Assist fellow co-workers and/or other timekeepers as needed and requested
On-site position
Pay: $55,000-$75,000
Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Self-starter Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
