Litigation Legal Secretary – Houston

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join a large firms Houston office. This role supports attorneys in state and federal litigation, providing high-level administrative and document management support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, correspondence, and assist with court filings
• E-file with state and federal courts
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical files
• Open new client/matter files and maintain client contacts
• Manage calendars, travel, and meeting logistics
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a litigation secretary
• Strong knowledge of court rules and filing procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and document management systems (e.g., NetDocs, Aderant)
• Skilled in remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, WebEx)
• Excellent organizational, proofreading, and multitasking abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
