We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel- M&A Attorney to join the legal team of a prestigious and heavily-backed renewable energy platform, focusing on energy sector transactions and project development.
Role Overview:
Lead negotiations, legal diligence, and execution of M&A transactions within the renewable energy sector.
Draft, review, and negotiate development agreements related to solar, storage, and energy services.
Collaborate with technical, engineering, and project teams to support project development.
Manage regulatory compliance, including community solar programmes and energy regulations.
Support governance activities and oversee diligence processes.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 4 years’ relevant legal experience, ideally in M&A, power sector transactions, or commercial real estate.
Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.B degree with good standing in a US state bar.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
Self-motivated, professional, and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
