SALARY RANGE: $135,000. to $175,000.

Manage corporate and investor litigation cases.
Partner with compliance department to manage compliance matters and related change management.
Mentor and develop a growing team, manage work allocation, systems training, performance evaluations, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee contested and litigated cases, including communication with clients.
· Maintain bordereau reporting to insurance provider for potential claims.
· Select and manage outside legal counsel for contested and litigated cases.
· Leverage legal case management and compliance software to provide operational information.
· Attend proceedings on behalf of Statebridge and investor clients.
· Recruit, interview and hire staff as required.
· Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate.
· Provide business with guidance and advice on issues related to day-to-day corporate governance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Juris Doctor (JD) Degree
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
Experience:
· Background in mortgage litigation and compliance.
· 5+ years total legal experience.
· Knowledge of CFPB, GSE, and HUD guidelines preferred.
· Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
· Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence.
· Ability to motivate staff.
· Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
· Willingness to create own work product.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Mortgage litigation experience and a broad working knowledge of federal and state mortgage servicing laws, specifically federal laws and regulations pertaining to the servicing of residential mortgage loans, including but not limited to TILA, RESPA, HMDA, ECOA, FCRA, SAFE Act, Fair Lending and CFPB rules and regulations.
· Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Power Point).
· Third party case management and change management software.
· Artificial Intelligence and large language models.
