Description
As a Pharmacy Technician Lead, you will be responsible for sterile compounding activities, oversight of cleanroom preparation, inventory management, and adherence to regulatory standards.Perform and lead sterile compounding activities, including accurate preparation, measuring, mixing, labeling, and inspection of sterile products under pharmacist supervision.Maintain strict compliance within ISO‑classified cleanrooms, including proper gowning, hygiene, environmental monitoring, and aseptic technique.Oversee cleanroom readiness and daily operations, ensuring workspaces, hoods, and equipment meet sterility and safety standards.Monitor, document, and maintain USP , USP , and Ohio Board of Pharmacy compliance, including logs, batch records, audits, and traceability.Inspect compounded products for accuracy, sterility, clarity, and particulate contamination prior to pharmacist verification.Operate, clean, and perform basic troubleshooting on sterile compounding equipment (laminar flow hoods, IV pumps, filtration systems, automated mixers).Manage inventory of sterile supplies and medications, including tracking usage, restocking, rotation, and preventing shortages.Support training and guidance of pharmacy technicians on sterile techniques, documentation practices, and compliance expectations.Partner with pharmacists and pharmacy leadership to address quality issues, improve workflows, and support patient safety initiatives.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
