We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to play a critical role in both hands-on product development and team leadership. This individual will lead hardware engineering efforts, support business growth through technical input on new opportunities, and help shape engineering processes and best practices.

What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and represent the hardware engineering team in planning, status, and strategy discussions
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and day-to-day direction to engineers
- Partner with program management to prioritize work and allocate resources
- Support proposal development and project quoting
- Conduct performance reviews and approve team administrative needs
Engineering Process & Execution
- Establish, improve, and enforce hardware design and documentation processes
- Lead or actively participate in design reviews
- Maintain component libraries and project databases
Design & Development
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements and system architectures
- Design, simulate, and validate electrical systems and circuits
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts
- Oversee BOMs, ECOs, and documentation
Product Development
- Drive cost optimization and manufacturability
- Collaborate cross-functionally across engineering and production teams
- Support assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and validation
- Interface with customers and provide technical support/documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in electrical design and development
- Strong PCB design expertise
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineers
- Experience with lab/test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Deep understanding of product design best practices
