We are growing!  Wells Fargo has an opening in our Global Payments practice for a Java / J2EE / Spring Microservices Developer passionate about development and interested in building cool products from the ground up.  They will be a forward thinker, passionate technologist, expert in modern software development practices, and has the experience to operate across the enterprise through understanding of available technology and tools. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and possess excellent communication skills, sound judgment and reasoning skills.

• Provides the strategy, design and engineering for GPE including, upgrades and deployments, from engineering / implementation perspective
• Establish plan to transition application from OSB to Java while helping with the Cloud Transformation.
• Leads projects and as an escalation point, provides guidance and direction in resolution of highly complex technical problems. 
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices. 
• Develops detailed design documentation and departmental technical procedures. 
• Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.
• Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. 
• As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems. 
• Works closely with Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand Business and Product Owner requirements and translate them in robust working code.
• Creates technical stories for the requested effort
• Participates in Agile ceremonies.
• Should be able to work in odd hours with India team and make sure that projects are on track.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of Java experience
• 3+ years of experience with external user facing applications
• 5 + years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
• 4+ years of GitHub experience
• 1+ year of Autosys experience

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
