Position Summary:

The LCU/R Quoting Specialist supports Trane Supply’s sales and customer service operations by developing accurate, timely, and competitive quotes for Light Commercial Unit (LCU) and Residential (R) HVAC equipment with a high standard of professionalism.

What you will do:

• Develop, prepare, and deliver detailed and accurate quotes for LCU/R HVAC equipment based on customer requests and specifications

• Review RFQs, equipment replacements, and customer requirements to determine appropriate product selection and pricing.

• Utilize Trane Supply systems, product selection tools, resources, salesforce and CRM.

• Validate all quoted information, including pricing, product configurations, availability, freight, lead times, and applicable warranties.

• Partner with Trane Supply branch teams, account managers and product support resources to resolve basic technical inquiries and verify equipment application suitability.

• Track and manage workload to ensure quote turnaround times are achieved and customer expectations are met.

• Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to quoting tools, templates, processes, and customer experience.

• Provide guidance and product knowledge support to internal teams to strengthen Trane Supply’s commercial effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.

• Prior experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, technical quoting, or sales support strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with commercial HVAC products—particularly light commercial and replacement equipment—is a significant advantage..

• Proficiency with business systems such as Salesforce, CRM, and equipment selection tools; Microsoft Office proficiency required.

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet defined service-level expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$44,300.00 - $89,424.99
