Construction Laborer – Trench Safety Division

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Environment: Outdoor yard setting, all weather conditions

Job Overview

Join our specialty Trench Safety Division as a Construction Laborer (Yard Laborer). In this role, you will support daily operations by assisting with equipment maintenance, cleaning, loading, and overall yard organization. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work and are comfortable working outdoors year‑round.

Key Responsibilities

• Lift, load, and move equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
• Assist with routine maintenance and general upkeep of trench safety equipment.
• Clean equipment, tools, and shop areas to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
• Load and unload trucks as part of daily yard operations.
• Safely operate hand and power tools as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6+ months of experience in a manual labor or physically demanding role.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Ability to clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tool operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude, particularly experience or comfort working on vehicles.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Herndon, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
