Laboratory Technician

Location: Lafayette, CO

Contract: 2-year

Pay: 20-30/hr

Shift: 1st Shift (Training also 1st Shift)

Remote: Not allowed – candidates must be local to MDT/Lafayette

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join a mechanical lab environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to clearly communicate findings and issues to ensure smooth lab operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine lab procedures and technical support tasks using hand tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient lab environment.
• Document and report observations, findings, and issues clearly to the team.
• Assist with production, testing, process improvement, or product development as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a mechanical lab environment is essential.
• Proficient with hand tools and lab equipment.
• Neat, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication skills – able to articulate technical information clearly.
• Local to MDT/Lafayette.
