Laboratory Technical Assistant - Clinical Laboratory at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

The Certified Laboratory Technician Specialist functions as having oversight of one or more specific assigned duties or projects which may include training, data collection, entry and analysis. Perform all phlebotomy procedures according to laboratory protocol in compliance with the requirements set forth in the Federal Register and the State of California Personnel Code of Regulations. Perform various technical specimen collection procedures for the Clinical Lab Department. Perform other duties as assigned. Function as an assistant in laboratory testing activities. Generates laboratory results on patient specimens by processing, referring to designated outside laboratories, and the operation of appropriate instrumentation and procedures which do not involve subjective or qualitative judgment under the direct supervisor of the Clinical Laboratory Scientists
