Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Analyst – Travel Contract

Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Type: Contract (16 Weeks)

Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

40 Hours per Week

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled LIS Analyst to join a leading healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining laboratory information systems to ensure smooth operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, configure, and maintain Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
• Support daily operations of lab and pathology systems across multiple facilities
• Perform system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting
• Participate in integration and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, lab staff, vendors)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, HIPAA)
• Document workflows, system configurations, and procedures
• Provide end-user support and training when needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in: Laboratory Science, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as: Systems Analyst / Sr. Analyst in a healthcare environment
• Hands-on experience with: Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
• System testing and implementation
• Strong understanding of: Clinical/lab workflow
