A well-established law firm in the San Diego area is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to support a growing practice representing employers in a broad range of workplace disputes.

This role offers meaningful case responsibility and direct client exposure. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills and experience managing matters from early case assessment through resolution.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling labor & employment litigation matters in state and federal court
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and dispositive filings
• Taking and defending depositions
• Managing wage & hour, PAGA, FEHA, wrongful termination, and related claims
• Assisting with trial preparation, mediations, and settlement strategy

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar admission
• 3–8 years of labor & employment litigation experience
• Strong writing, analytical, and case management skills
• Experience with motion practice, discovery, and depositions required
• Trial, arbitration, or class/PAGA exposure is a plus
