We are hiring a Labor & Employment Attorney in Newport Beach, CA.
A longstanding full service firm in Newport Beach, CA is looking for a California Licensed Employment attorney with 3+ years of experience to join and support a thriving and growing Labor & Employment (L&E) practice.
The L&E group represents diverse businesses across California and nationwide and handles employment matters including advice and counseling, pre-litigation disputes, and litigation matters ranging from single plaintiff cases to large representative actions.
Key Experience:
• California employment litigation
• Pre-litigation disputes and single plaintiff cases
• Class actions and PAGA cases
• Employment claims including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, termination, and wage & hour issues
Legal Skills:
• Drafting and responding to pleadings
• Discovery requests and motions
• Dispositive motions (motions to dismiss, summary judgment, summary adjudication)
• Mediation and trial briefs
• Trial preparation and deposition preparation
Requirements:
• 3+ years of CA employment litigation experience
• Active membership with the CA State Bar
Work Location: In person – Newport Beach, CA
