A well‑established Labor & Employment practice is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join its growing team. The group is known for handling complex employment disputes, conducting sensitive workplace investigations, and advising employers across a wide range of labor and employment matters. This role offers immediate, meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to grow within a highly collaborative environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Litigate a variety of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes
  • Support class and collective action defense under state and federal wage and hour laws
  • Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and related filings
  • Manage written discovery, take and defend depositions, and conduct fact investigations
  • Prepare responses to government agency complaints and inquiries
  • Advise employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws, including ADA/FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and evolving regulatory requirements
  • (Preferred) Assist in labor‑relations matters such as negotiations, grievances, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings before labor agencies


What We’re Looking For

  • 4–7 years of substantive employment litigation experience
  • Strong academic background and exceptional research and writing skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently while contributing effectively in a team setting
  • Commitment to high‑quality client service
  • Solid foundation in California employment law
  • Interest in developing trial or arbitration experience

Comp - $160k-$200k + benefits
