Position Overview
We are hiring an RN for Labor & Delivery (Night Shift 7p–7a) in a 10-bed LDRP unit with a Level II Special Care Nursery. This role includes hands-on care across active labor, postpartum couplet care, nursery, and OB post-ops.
Unit Highlights
- 10 Beds LDRP
- Level II Special Care Nursery
- Patient Ratios:
- Active Labor: 1:1
- Latent Labor: 2:1
- Postpartum Couplet Care: 3:1
- Cross-training across: Postpartum, Nursery, OB Post-Op
- Float requirements: MS4, ICU, ER, Skilled Nursing
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 12-hour Nights (7p–7a)
- Weekends: Every other
- Holidays: Every other
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
- Fetal Monitoring (can be completed within 6 months of hire)
Compensation
- New Grad RN (no BSN): $27.75/hr base
- BSN RN: $29.25/hr base
- Additional pay based on experience
- Relocation Bonus up to $2,500 (with receipts)
Additional Notes
- Jewelry and visible piercings (other than small ear piercings/nose studs) are not permitted during duty.
- Strong team environment with supportive leadership and training.
Ideal Candidate
- RN with interest or experience in Labor & Delivery
- Comfortable floating to other units as needed
- Team-oriented, patient-centered, and adaptable
- Open to working nights and rotating weekends/holidays
