🚨 Travel RN Opportunity – Labor & Delivery (High-Risk OB) | North Carolina 🚨
We are actively hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a fast-paced, high-acuity unit. This is a great opportunity for nurses who thrive in challenging environments and have strong L&D experience.
📍 Position Details
Position: Labor & Delivery (High-Risk OB)
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
- Shift: Day Shift | 4x12 (06:45 AM – 07:15 PM)
- Duration: 13–26 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36–48 hrs/week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Weekly Gross: $2855
Breakdown:
W2: $26.5/hr
Perdiem: $1477/wk
� Unit Highlights (Read Carefully)
- Extremely fast-paced & high-acuity unit
- 400–600 births/month
- Double labor assignments are common
- Experience in large-volume hospitals (>300 births/month) is REQUIRED
✅ Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2–3 years of L&D experience
- Must have worked in high-volume birthing units
- Strong experience with:
- Circulating (C-section preferred)
- Sterile vaginal exams
- Immediate newborn care
- High-risk antepartum & postpartum care
- Comfortable with floating within women’s services
📜 Certifications Required
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate (or C-EFM equivalent)
🏥 Unit Details
- Patient Ratio: 2:1
- 20 Rooms | ~40 patients/day
- High-risk OB + L&D + postpartum mix
- EMR: Epic
❗ Important Notes
- NO RTO allowed after booking
- Maximum 7 days RTO at submission only
- Must be okay with holiday coverage (2 out of 3 major holidays)
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Scrubs provided
