The Lab Technician performs and verifies physical testing of products at key stages of the production process to ensure they meet established laboratory specifications. This role operates and maintains a variety of laboratory testing instruments and collaborates closely with production personnel by communicating test results promptly and escalating issues when necessary. Responsibilities
This role is based in a manufacturing laboratory environment that is described as very clean, including the production floor. The position follows a 3rd shift schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a 2-2-3-3 rotation, providing a consistent and predictable work pattern. The work involves regular use of laboratory testing equipment such as tensiometers, thickness gauges, scales, flame chambers, radiofrequency and hot air welders, gloss meters, colorimeters, die presses, ovens, heated water baths, and other instruments. The company emphasizes stability, as its materials serve many different industries, reducing concerns about layoffs. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $24.50/hr.
