Role Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support the production of medical textile materials in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for hands‑on manufacturing professionals with prior GMP or cleanroom exposure who are eager to grow their skills in a regulated production setting.

The manufacturing process includes polymer extrusion, fiber and yarn production, and textile (felt) manufacturing, all performed within an ISO 8 cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used in polymer extrusion, fiber, yarn, and textile production
  • Perform hands‑on production activities in accordance with GMP requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Support cleanroom manufacturing operations, maintaining cleanliness and compliance at all times
  • Document production activities accurately following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Inspect materials and products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met
  • Identify and escalate process or equipment issues as needed
  • Collaborate with team members and manufacturing leadership to meet daily production goals
  • Participate in training and continuously develop technical and manufacturing skills
Required Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of hands‑on manufacturing experience
  • Prior experience working in a GMP and/or cleanroom environment (ISO experience preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a manufacturing mindset
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and work in a regulated environment
  • Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn new processes

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bedford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
