Join our healthcare partner in West Des Moines, IA, where you will be an integral part of a team that supports mothers and their newborns through labor, delivery, and postpartum care. This role requires a compassionate and skilled nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
Administer medications and manage drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients
Float across all campuses as needed
Work every 3rd weekend, including holiday rotations if scheduled

Requirements:

Need 2 years experience in setting
Experience in Post Partum/mother-baby care
Experience in Labor & Delivery, including c-section and vaginal delivery experience
Intermediate or Advanced EFM/AWHONN certificate
Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license
AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS certification
AHA/American Heart Association ACLS certification
NRP certification
Must have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months
