Retail Key Holder

Shift/Hours: Shifts are mostly evening shifts including weekends, but occasional morning availability is needed.
Shifts can be 8 and 10 hours. 12PM-10PM and 2PM-10PM.
Pay Rate: 17.00, 40 hour weeks
Location:Kettering, Ohio 45420
Experience:1-2 years of Retail experience, including supervisor or key holder responsibilities. Grocery Store experience preferred

What You’ll Do

As a Key Holder, you are the backbone of daily operations. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Leadership on Duty: Opening and closing the store, activating alarms, and performing security checks.
• Team Support: Directing associates during your shift to ensure tasks are completed and operations are seamless.
• Customer Excellence: Engaging with shoppers, resolving concerns, and maintaining a positive environment.
• Operational Success: Assisting management with sales goals, merchandising standards, and product replenishment.
• Store Safety: Handling cash accurately and enforcing loss prevention policies.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1–2 years of retail experience, specifically including supervisory or key-holding duties.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Skills: Strong communication, basic math, and comfort using POS systems and email.

• Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

• Reliability: You are punctual, dependable, and ready to take on responsibility.
