Title: Java Backend Developer
Location: Dallas, TX
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Core Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Build and expose RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Implement business logic, data processing, and integration with third-party services.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases to design efficient data models and queries.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Develop and maintain batch processing jobs using tools like Spring Batch (if required).
- Integrate security and data protection solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Spring Boot / Spring Framework
- RESTful Web Services
- Hibernate / JPA
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
