Job Title: IT Technology Services Senior Specialist

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to develop and provide systems, applications, products and services to optimize/automate business processes, and improve work efficiency.

Expectations and Tasks:

Deliver outcomes of assigned projects; work independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility. Enhance complex systems/processes. Represents SAP to customers. Communicates clear and conveying processes & policies in a way that others can understand. Advocate for the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors & usage patterns. Promote User Experience, thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies & practices and ability to integrate those into current and future development efforts. Revises and updates existing programs and provides required documentation. Facilitates the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. Acts as a technology expert to execute technical feasibility studies / solution reviews. Define / review technical blueprint for internal IT projects. Customize and develop enhancements. Implement solutions. Provide technical documentation. Acts as a cross functional technology expert to execute and support problem management and continuous improvement. Participate in de-escalation activities. Contribute to the Build to Run engagement. Contribute to the definition of technical standards and frameworks.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:

  • SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud;

  • SAP HANA Cloud Platform and Cloud Integration;

  • SAP Basis Administrator;

  • SAP Architecture;

  • SAP Technical Consulting; and

  • Technical Project Management for SAP Operations.

Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various and unanticipated customer sites for implementations and workshops.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $137,160 - $216,128. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $154,500 - $245,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
