Job Description

Are you a proactive IT professional who thrives on solving complex technical issues and delivering exceptional customer service? We are seeking a Level 2 IT Support Analyst to join our team based near Perth Airport, supporting a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment.

An It Support Analyst ensures a timely resolution of incidents and maintaining high service standards. You’ll work closely with global and regional IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver reliable IT services and support business-critical operations.

Key responsibilities include However, not limited to: 

  • Provide Level 2 support for moderate complexity technical issues escalated from the Global Service Desk and end users
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to the Australia end-user community
  • Evaluate user needs, diagnose technical issues, and implement effective solutions
  • Coordinate with local, regional, and global IT teams and vendors to resolve incidents
  • Troubleshoot general end-user desktop IT issues
  • Resolve IT peripheral issues (printers, cabling, conferencing systems, Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity, patching)
  • Conduct site reviews and maintain documentation
  • Perform hardware/software installation, imaging, and configuration (Windows OS and protocols)
  • Manage Active Directory access and permissions
  • Support vendor technologies and networking appliances
  • Provide support for mobile devices
  • Track, monitor, and communicate progress of incidents using ServiceNow
  • Provide urgent IT support to VIP staff and laboratory operations when required
  • Prioritise and triage tickets based on severity
  • Contribute to IT projects and business initiatives
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Proven experience in an IT support / support engineer role
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both onsite and remotely
  • Experience supporting desktop environments, networks, and end-user technologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
