MajorDuties

  • As an IT Specialist, you will perform the following duties: As a Senior Operations Specialist, apply extensive computer programming languages knowledge toward the development and deployment of systems, programs and applications. Oversee the installation and evaluation of products, and manage data flow modifications for conventional satellite and radar data. Develop and design applications and select computer equipment for specific specialized purposes. Translate information for meteorological forecast products into computer-generated products, and analyze and evaluate software and integrated systems. Provide guidance on utilizing applications or systems, and in resolving multiple customer concerns related to workstations, hardware, software, systems management, applications and integrated hardware, software or services. Provide troubleshooting to resolve issues with communications, workstations, programs, applications or other hardware, software or systems management concerns. Integrate hardware, software and services to provide an integrated information system.
