Salary:$102,264.00 - $137,520.00 Annually
The Opportunity:
The Network Operations Manager leads a team of IT professionals responsible for the agency’s enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VoIP, DNS, DHCP, and data/voice circuits. This role provides technical leadership for mission-critical, high-impact projects while ensuring the reliability, security, and availability of network systems. The position works closely with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to design, implement, maintain, and optimize network services, and has decision-making authority over infrastructure needs. Responsibilities include capacity planning, resource coordination, and cost management across statewide systems, as well as mentoring staff and overseeing network monitoring and reporting. The role requires advanced expertise in network design and troubleshooting, including routing, switching, DNS, IP addressing, and traffic analysis, along with strong communication and collaboration skills to support a diverse customer base.

Required Qualifications:
Equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Technology, totaling ten (10) years.
OR
An Associate's degree or completion of an accredited vocational training program in an information technology or related program AND eight (8) years of progressively more complex Information Technology experience such as consulting, analyzing, design, programming, installing and/or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, or network infrastructure equipment.
OR
Bachelor's degree in computer science, networking, information systems or a related field AND six (6) years of progressively more complex Information Technology experience such as consulting, analyzing, design, programming, installing and/or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, or network infrastructure equipment.
AND
Additional Qualifications:
