Position Summary

The Inventory & Logistics Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient shipping and receiving, and warehouse readiness to support production and project execution. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring strong attention to detail, accountability, and collaboration across Operations and Production teams out of our Texas location.


Essential Job Functions:

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records across company systems
  • Perform cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliations
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages
  • Support continuous improvement of inventory control processes

Shipping & Receiving

  • Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments for accuracy and quality
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate outbound shipments
  • Track shipments and proactively address delivery issues
  • Support freight coordination and logistics requirements

Warehouse Operations

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
  • Ensure inventory is properly labeled, stored, and accessible
  • Follow warehouse safety, handling, and storage standards
  • Assisting in loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments

Production & Project Support

  • Stage inventory and materials for Production and project builds
  • Partner with Production to ensure materials are available and accurate
  • Communicate inventory constraints that could impact timelines

Performance Expectations

  • High inventory accuracy with minimal discrepancies
  • Timely and accurate shipping and receiving execution
  • Production materials staged correctly and on time
  • Organized, safe, and audit-ready warehouse
  • Proactive issue identification and resolution

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment
  • Clear and proactive communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • High school diploma required and advanced education in supply chain or logistics considered a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years prior experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations
  • Experience working closely with production or project teams
  • Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems (preferred, not required)
  • Forklift certification or experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to standard warehouse weight limits with or without assistance (40 lbs)
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
