Our Unemployment Insurance (UI) Hub Manager for Sumter will serve on the UI Operations team. This role will direct and manage all UI staff functions within a designated UI Hub. The UI Hub Manager will coordinate all Unemployment Insurance (UI) programs to ensure that staff meet and exceed UI program performance goals and objectives and comply with federal and state measures. An ideal candidate will bedetail-oriented with excellent organization and time management skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe UI Hub Manager will:
- Provide ongoing communication and dissemination of policies and procedures with UI Operations stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Analyze operational reports and data to determine needs assessments for quality or process improvement efforts.
- Complete and distribute Individual Development Plans (IDP's) for UI HUB staff, while ensuring staff adhere to IDP expectations and goals.
- Prepare, maintain, and/or direct the preparation of required operational reports. Monitor available electronic claims reports, analyze activities in designated UI HUB/UI Claims Centers.
- Serve as a designated UI representative for community, public and private agencies, as well as local business and industry.
- Provide current information, status reports and assistance to all entities within the community as it relates to unemployment insurance and related agency programs.

A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience.Considerable knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to unemployment insurance. Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with written and verbal skills. Ability to exercise judgement and discretion. Ability to exercise administrative and technical supervision over a staff of professional and technical employees.
