Role OverviewThe ERP Consulting Intern will support ongoing client engagements and internal initiatives across Finance, HCM, and Utility Billing domains. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to ERP consulting, business process analysis, and public sector project delivery.You will work closely with senior consultants, functional leads, and project managers to assist in research, documentation, reporting, and system analysis activities.Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Project SupportAssist in documenting current-state and future-state business processes across ERP modules (Finance, HCM, Utility Billing)Support ERP assessments, remediation efforts, and optimization initiativesParticipate in client meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions (as appropriate)Prepare meeting notes, action trackers, and follow-up documentationData & ReportingSupport data validation, reconciliation, and basic analysis activitiesAssist in developing reports (Excel, dashboards, or SSRS exposure if applicable)Help identify data inconsistencies and support cleanup effortsResearch & AnalysisConduct research on ERP best practices, public sector trends, and system capabilitiesAssist in preparing client deliverables, presentations, and recommendationsSupport internal knowledge base development and documentationOperational & Internal SupportAssist in proposal development, RFP responses, and capability documentationSupport internal process improvement initiativesContribute to marketing or thought leadership content (optional)QualificationsRequiredCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environmentPreferredExposure to ERP systems (e.g., Tyler Munis, Workday, Oracle, SAP)Understanding of public sector operations or government processesFamiliarity with data analysis, reporting tools, or SQL (basic level)Key CompetenciesAttention to detail and structured thinkingProfessional communication and documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesCuriosity and willingness to learn ERP systems and consulting practicesWhat You Will GainHands-on experience in ERP consulting within the public sectorExposure to real client engagements and system implementationsMentorship from experienced consultants and industry leadersPractical understanding of enterprise systems, business processes, and project deliveryCompensationCompetitive hourly stipend (based on experience and schedule)Career Path OpportunityHigh-performing interns may be considered for full-time roles such as:ERP AnalystAssociate ConsultantBusiness Systems Analyst
